We had some really light sand ground, that you could leave the cultivator down with no worries, had some heavy clay that if you left it down ( only running 3 inches deep), the rear of the tractor would get pulled sideways and you'd snap 10 tines if you left it in the ground. When I lifted I only lifted high enough to get the shovels out of the ground, often the baskets were still in contact with the ground, just enough to rub of the wheel tracks . |
