Subject: RE: 9770 with macdon and feeder house speeding up

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The above would be true UNLESS he has the multi-speed feeder house drive. The multi-speed feeder house drive is a power shift type transmission located behind the cab. The speed changes are made there and the combine does not have the snowmobile type drive belt on the feeder house. I have the multi-speed feeder house drive on my 9770 and when connected to a Deere bean head, the transmission is set to Gear 1 and cannot be changed. When connected to a corn head, the other gears are available.
