| olwhda - 10/16/2021 22:09 Same as the 525 Oliver, the first numbers designate the cylinder width, 28 inches in this Combine. The 525 I owned (1964) had a flathead Chrysler 6 cylinder ( same as a 1951 Canadian truck motor.)Great old engines, never caused any problems for me or my dad he had a 1966- 525. Growing up dad had a MH 92 with a 251 Chrysler and a MF Super 92 with a 265. We never had good luck with either one. Water pumps went out every two years, you could count on it. And I lost track how many times we slide the engine out for an overhaul. When we got a 105 JD I thought we were on top of the world. |
