| Has someone modified it to have hyd cylinders on the wing wheels? I bought a 490 back in the late '70s - early '80s. , it had the turnbuckle settup. First disc I recallmIH making with hyd cylinder s on the wing wheels was a 496, traded the 490 for one in the '90s. I had the same issue you describe on the 496 after a few years. IIRC, running the wing remote in "float" helped. Towards the end I put hyd cylinder stops on the wing cylinder to keep them from going in so deep.
Mine was 24', had dual wheels on the wings. On the larger sizes single wheel wings were known to gouge on the wings.
