We have a fair amount of trouble keeping screen clean from chopping corn head on our case ih combines. Has been an issue on 1680 and 2388 but 8010 seems worse.
Never hear about the jd or lexion guys complain about this. Is it not an issue and if not what different?
I've got a 7230 and I have been taking the combine back to the shop every night and blowing the dust out of the whole cleaning system and then Powerwashing it thoroughly. ONLY POWERWASH AT NIGHT so it has time to dry before the next morning. It allows me to get through the entire next day without incident Otherwise, I have to brush the screen off several times a day. I also do it while the machine is idling. |
