I religiously changed mine every year for a long time. When I set them in the high post, the blocks would chew into the plastic bumpers over time……I asked dealer and he said most people just the rear ones. Thank God..Been leaving them alone for 5-6 year now.
I never removed the shocks….though loosened bolt.
Took one crew out of the black bumper so could spin plastic bumper out at 45 degree angle. Then used bar to lift on corner of block so it rotated up into tall post. Never too any bolts off
