McCanna, ND | About everyone on here will say it’s not going to work because it’s not a Deere planter loaded up with precision equipment.
Bourgault seems to have pretty good products from the stuff I’ve looked at. I have no doubts that it would work fine for planting corn.
Had a eye opener this year, one company had some hybrids that struggled to get out of the ground or flat out didn’t even emerge. Didn’t matter if you had a $500k planter of a $5k planter, hybrid selection was king this year. Mother Nature has more influence on yield then planters these days as long as the operator that pays attention to the machine. | |
