The drive chain (left end) on 1063 corn head broke. Its a heavy 60 double and got a new one with same amount of links as old one. When installed it is very tight and cannot put idler pulley as not enough slack. Any ideas why this would be? My thought is maybe the old one had a half link at one time and was removed when it screeched. Any other ideas?
Are your sprockets worn out? |
