east grand forks, mn | Brushes have come down alot in the last year, which is very surprising considering our environment!! They were $400 couple of years ago and I saw a spring special at our deere store for $189. So the $250 is probably the normal rate now. The 2018 models and the early 2019 models deere must have switched manufactures of the brushes as they had a lot of issues with the planters in our area with the brushes. We had one of the early made 2019 planters and went through about 40% of our brushes in 1200acres. Deere recognize they had a problem and gave us and a lot of our neighbors new brushes on a PIP. We have 2500 acres on our new ones and haven't had any issues since. The planter does a nice job and its nice to get across a few more acres in a day. | |
