Subject: RE: Wire welders

I have a miller invision with a wire feeder set up for steel or aluminum. The pulse welders make a pro out of you pretty quick. They are expensive. A popular set up is the miller 350P but it's $6800 (I'd buy one used). I also have a pretty cheap forney mig welder (190) that is a transformer type (rather than the electronic type). It's heavy but small and handy and I use it all the time unless I have something big to weld.

So, there are plenty of good miller and lincoln welders depending on your budget, but something like the forney 190 does a surprisingly good job (even real welders like it).
