| New people that are hired after November 1 will not get a pension, it will be a 401K. That’s the way it should be, not sure if that’s one of the things they are arguing about. Deere has had recorded profits and the workers know that and see that and want a piece. Wonder how much an hour the UAW workers pay into the union. I’m not taking anyone’s side but maybe if some workers don’t like it go work somewhere else, plenty of jobs around. But bet many don’t because the longer you are there the better your pension is. | |
