Subject: Storm today.

Test plots don’t generally run through mud holes.  So whole field averages are not that high but those numbers are pretty common to see on the monitor.. till you hit a slough or drown out spot..  while fields have probably run 210 to mostly 260.  In Kansas the dryland crop is about 3 times the acreage of the irrigated and for us that was mostly 40 to 130.. 85 ish average so..??

.. and it’s not all in yet.

Our best irrigated yields cam come in a slightly drier year like this where drown out is reduced..  despite La Niña it feels like we may struggle to get the wheat in.. fighting mud now and more rains on the way.

Yea.

Given the costs not sure we’re making a whole lot of progress.. but keeping busy while we’re doing it.
