There’s evidence showing “fully” vaccinated people are getting COVID. This is not in question unless you just need something to argue over.

So there’s evidence that the vaccines protection against infection and mild or moderate disease is fading in the face of the infectious dose presented by the delta variant.

The question is what do we do about it. Do we say it’s failed and we were wrong to try to make a vaccine, we will prescribe Ivermectin to everybody even though we don’t believe it really helps? Hope for a big placebo effect and move on?

I think the more prudent approach is to figure out how to use the slate of vaccines we have available already to create better, more long lasting immunity for those that want it. The foundation of this is already laid by the vaccination schedules we use for childhood diseases like measles, mumps, rubella tetanus and others. We know that usually a repeat vaccination creates better, stronger, more long lasting protection. As some of the industry experts pointed out, with vaccine production ramping up, we can booster those in developing countries who want it and still keep up with demand from vaccination programs in the poorer countries of the world. We just have to decide to get our collective thumbs out of our nether regions and get er done $$

So let’s do the trials, collect the data, write up the papers and see if it will work like every other vaccine ever made with the exception of the first one.

Delta threw us a curve ball, but vaccination and prior infection as a way of creating protective immunity are not out by a long shot.

People worry about BIG PHARMA, well the anti COVID money maker drugs are starting to come out of the pipeline now. And they work, have the studies to show they work and the real world experience from sanctioned use of authorized drugs is building every day. Ivermectin has to hit a home run in a big game SOON or it’s going to be left on the shelf.
