Agree. Term limits should be a fundamental part unless it's a unanimous decision.
IDK, I voted for term limits (which we have now, for some offices) and it's a mixed bag. Seems you lose experience (which can be bad at times) and the clowns that are only out for themselves, just speed up the process of greasing their own pockets.
Follow the money, surely fits in a fair amount of political positions. And not just government either, in my area top union officials, can't seem to keep their hands out of the cookie jar.
If the elected folks only had to follow their own rules, maybe that would help? I'm thinking Federal here, where they have their own SS, etc. |
