The IRS is terrible. We have been getting letters for years about every month telling us that we have changed our address. We have been at the same address for 60 years. Does no good to write back. Now I see we are getting two of everything. When my office gal tries to contact them she will be on hold for 3 hrs or more.
Years ago we contacted the IRS Ombudsman and he to listened us and took care of the issue within a couple of weeks. We are going to contact that section again.
The IRS has to be the most inefficient organization in the world. But see if you can contact the Ombudsman as the guy that we made contact with was good. | |
