Oh! I've got one too.
Was talking to a guy who had a pretty good job with an oil company. He told me he likes to pick out people at random in a restaurant and pay for their meals.
Personally, I don't like random acts of kindness. Not everyone deserves it.

Ok
I’ve got another
I was watching this fella from India(YouTube)that lives in Tennessee.
He’s a engineer by trade but dabbles in bee insemenation.
Now I’ve spent the last I’d say 3 to 4 yrs of failure and failure after failure (well about 30% successful).

And https://vpqueenbees.com/
I know some on dabble.

Frustrating is not even a word that comes close.
As a kid I learned a very valuable lesson about splitting firewood by hand.
You see the trees that twist in the wind are harder to split.

So this engineer from India that lives in Tn.
Changed my life and didn’t even know it.
Back wash.

It’s not the act in it self but it’s about your capability.

That meal probably won’t change anyone’s life.
But the skill that payed for that meal is priceless.

Another story
Big city kids vs country kids.
I’m generalizing so it’s not totally true.
Big city kid may see kindness as a weakness to be taken advantage of.
Country kid(in general) just wants a good life.
Kindness can lift boats and can be seen as a test of character for future endeavors.

My view your misunderstanding the kindness for capability an that’s his pleasure more than receiving.

No different than a Mech helping someone on the road for free. The giver has fought the battles and the lessons.

Aka Jack handy(joke).

Rich or poor or whatever.
