I think the community in the Cashton, WI area is pretty conservative (if that is the correct term). The last I heard, they could not hire drivers....thus where ever they went, they had to use their horse and buggy. I also heard they were not allowed to have windshields in their buggies. That information may be dated.
The community near me (Hillpoint and Lime Ridge, WI) use solar panels, cell phones, hire drivers, and have indoor plumbing.
Are there still Amish groups that adhere to the old ways 100 %?
