Near-north Ontario, French River | I stand corrected.. i guess the walnut oil isn't technically a 'stain' its more of a 'finish' LOL.. and now that I think of it there is a small amount of glue used, as I laminated two 3/4" x 10" boards together to form 1.5" thick side rails for the frame. Those joints will be hidden so no really an issue. There are a total of 24 screws to mount the rail hardware, but all the joints are pegged together ( no glue used).. the panels in the headboard/footboards are free floating tongue and grove.
