. | I was a bit overly optimistic on how fast I'd recover from the paraesophageal hernia/linx procedure done on the 21st of September. The gas and bloating prevented me from eating much and left me pretty miserable. But the last few days, I've kept food down if I eat small quantities at a time. Dr. checked me over yesterday and said everything was on track. The hernia was a Type IV the largest and rarest of them and had sucked other abdominal parts into the chest as well. Getting them settled back where they belong takes a little time. Today I got an infusion of iron to bring the hemoglobin levels back where they should be, 4 more of those treatments should take care of that, and as lungs begin to expand, I should get rid of shortness of breath as well.
I did get out and cut one field of hay, and a fairly full day on the road today, so I guess I will eventually rebound.
Too cloudy today for much in the way of photos, but here are few from the last couple trips.
