How would finding a stolen gun in a field be different from buying a stolen gun from your neighbor who bought it from a pawn shop who bought it from a thief? Guys at the factory, where I work, buy and sell guns to each other all the time. Probably hundred guns a year. No paperwork on any of those guns. You guys that think you will get it back if you turn it in are plum crazy. Some of my best friends a cops.
because a pawn shop has a holding period and also can't sell guns with out a ffl so there for stolen guns won't get resold to the public and if the guy gets pull over and they find it and run the serial number or trades it in and it comes back stolen you really think the police are gonna believe "I found it in a corn field". stupid **** like this is why we have the gun laws we do now and its only gonna get worse.
P.s both my sister and dad have FFLS two diff stores and my BIL is a county sheriff |
