Missouri | I don't understand what goes into the job participation rate? Here is how it is determined, or at least what my accountant sent me today after our discussion. Seems fairly simple and straight forward to me. But if I am missing something please enlighten me and I will tell my accountant his 40 years of experience is worthless. Again from him.....
The labor force participation rate is a measure of an economy’s active workforce. The formula for the number is the sum of all workers who are employed or actively seeking employment divided by the total noninstitutionalized, civilian working-age population. | |
