Floyd County, Iowa | Ron, Brian, and Aaron just hit the nail on the head. The problem is that in ICU, there is a limit to the number of beds per nurse. There may be 10 beds in the ICU, but if the number of patients per nurse is 3, and you only have 2 nurses, it's "full" at 6 patients, but there's still 4 unused beds. On the floors, that number of patients is higher.
It's a numbers game manipulated to show the desired result. Typical politics. | |
