My dad and uncle built a tractor out of an old Buick in the late 30's. Looked more like a truck with dual rear wheels. It had a 6 cylinder engine in front of 2 transmissions, 1 was reversed. I was told it would go from 1 mph to over 40. It sat in our shelter belt and was slowly destroyed by us kids as years went by. It would have been a lot of fun to have around now days but who knew.
