Nevada, Iowa | I think the results would indicate the "fake" you speak of but that map hasn't changed much all summer "here". I have farmed through several "real" droughts by my definition and a couple of those years had more rainfall than this one has had and the resulting yields were from nothing to dismal. The only difference I can see is that this year, most mornings we had dew and cooler night time temps. Other than that, I am clueless as to the results. I know genetics in corn have to play a roll but I am not willing to give that the lion's share of the credit. I seriously doubt if we could give genetics much credit in beans and they have performed remarkably this year. I understand what you're saying, I do not understand the results. | |
