May be a very dumb question, but I haven’t figured a solution yet.
Say I have beans in the bin, unpriced, but I like the cash to July carry currently. I think 36 cents. What is the proper way to lock that in without locking my futures price? Or is there no way to separate price and carry without having it sold and rolling it forward?
