North of London | No I am not making any claims.
I am just waiting for those who are making claims to come up with some proof of those.
that is why it is a belief, there is no evidence to back upon the claims
You say they might have written it 30-50 years after the fact.
Why did they not write about it sooner?
How good would their memory be then?
Would the old stories have gained a little in the telling by then?
I choose to wait for evidence and then I will know and not be just a believer.
You might believe that the actual apostles wrote some small part of the bible but there are scholars who have studied the old book and how it was put together who will point out lots of reasons that they were not the authors of it.
But none will say categorically either way is known but no definitive evidence to say they did or that they did not.
So if you want to believe they wrote it, it will remain a belief until proof is presented that they were the authors.
BTW which god do you expect will be blessing me? The Jesus god? Zeus? Yahweh? or all of them? | |
