| I always fight the tickets too.
First step is to always ask for a continuance. The cop will write the same court date on all his tickets for a period of time so he can be in court for them on the same day. Usually but not always, the clerk of the court will just give you a random date in the future and it might be when the cop is on vacation or assigned other duty and can't be in court. At least half of the time the cop doesn't show and I ask for a dismissal. Once the judge was mad about the cop not showing, made me wait while the bailiff called the cop and made him come in. I lost that one but I am better than 50% just with that tactic.
What really helps though is to run Waze app on my phone in conjunction with an Escort radar detector. Prevent that discussion beside the road. | |
