Well.........I thought we were done.

But I defer to what Greg Grundell said above.

Ritzy farmers would have a hard time surviving in my neighborhood. Suffice it to say.........I don't spend $25/ton keeping my nh3 flowing. Don't even use a cold flow on my primary dryland rig/sweep plow.

When the odds of not growing a crop due to drought are very real...........you learn how to cut corners...........or go broke.

Anyway.......no hard feelings.
You do you, and I'll do me.

You're showing an astounding lack of perspective in reality outside of your area.

Try applying NH3 in the fall here with temps barely above freezing, sometimes into ground that is frozen on the surface a bit, with no flow control system and get back to me on the accuracy of your rate control. I grew up doing that when NH3 was $150 and there's zero chance I'd go back for $25 a ton. You will end up over or under applying by many mulitilples of $25. Like I said above, if I was running in sand with no closing system it would make a huge difference.

And you thinking I'm some sort of ritzy farmer is the most hilarious thing I've read on this site. or stupid perhaps, idk
