Quebec, Canada | Field detection is how FieldView knows which Field you are in, basically it just looks at your GPS position and checks which boundary the machine is inside. I recommend setting it to “Prompt” so that FieldView asks if it should set a new field as active when it sees the GPS position move into a different field boundary. When set to “Auto” FieldView will just change fields and will stop mapping until you tell it what you are spraying or planting, or what crop you are harvesting. “Disabled” means you have to manually select the active field from the dropdown menu.
In all of these cases if you want to look at maps in a different field while still mapping in your current field there will be a pop-up asking if you want to change the active field and you need to select “No”. | |
