The ones that have a fighting chance are put together by geologists or engineers sometimes landsman who recently struck out on their own. There is a book called Money in the Ground by John Orban that should be required reading for an investor. Even with honest companies with good intentions your are far more likely to lose your investment (maybe eventually)than make money. There are always massive success stories but the investors are usually connected. Your best bet is companies that will never sell more than 51% so they never lose control. A knowledge of geology of the prospect helps greatly. | |
