The ICMR up until just this month was recommending both drugs as part of the Covid-19 treatment. They actually recommended it, found it didn't work, and pulled said recommendation. It's not like some other countries where Ivermectin was stone walled from the get go. If it was truly working in India (or Brazil) there would be no stopping that success story.
