Subject: RE: SMS

SMS has by default a min/max filter for yield data. I think for corn it's like 10 and 400? It's on the screens that get skipped if you leave the default import options alone...but comes up if you actually go through those processing steps. Same idea for beans and other crops but lower values for both. So a monitor is counting every single dot it recorded out there....even the few 689 bu/ac spots and the 0.3 bu/ac spots. SMS is not....unless you want it to. So normally yield and acres will be just slightly off if you look at one compared to the other.

Which is more correct? Unless you have actual 0 yield areas...I'd think the filtered stuff is probably closer to being correct.

Now if you're saying the field did 240 bu/ac and SMS is saying it did 197 that's a different story. I'm talking 240 vs 242
