coast of Maine
Here in the land of trees, wood furnace .It needs electricity,so need a back up wood stove in place. We heat about 50 % of the farm complex buildings with our Log boiler, should buy a 1.5 million BTU one but ,,,,this one is in the 550k btu range.Rarely lift a piece of wood ,top roll in 4 ft lengths off a brow that holds 2 days of fuel.Somewhere near 250,000 lbs of hardwood a season.Running already will be off June first again. So if the crap hits the blades its hunker down and start the wood stove and load some extra guns. The hardwood costs sub 3,000$ season, leave windows open if I want in winter.Cool part is I buy it 6 months ahead .No price increase.I burn some junk wood in October then again May as heat load is minimal. The Old Mill is rarely used other than wifes shoe tree,,hehe,,I realize we have cheap wood,,but Maine is poorly served by Natural gas ,the majority heat with fuel oil still
