North of London
Also use wood
More woodlot than we need for fuel just cleaning up dead ash right now but thinning out properly to get best log growth provides lots of fuel.

When oil was priced high in 70ies we put in wood stoves and only used a little oil
When oil furnace rusted out we relied entirely on wood with stoves and then put in a wood boiler in yard nearly 20 years ago.

Not sure what I will replace it with when it finally gives up but I still enjoy working in woodlot in winter and neighbours and tree service company contribute wood in the yard too.
I can use it and they are glad to have a place to get rid of their cuttings.
