So are you going to go on internet forever land and say that the covid vaccine will NOT be an every year type of shot like the flu shot?

My bet is it will be a yearly shot, and that IS NOT a vaccine.

Again, what exactly was changed in the vaccine definitions for COVID?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.miamiherald.com/news/coronavirus/ar...

Immunity "the ability of an organism to resist a particular infection or toxin by the action of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells.
"immunity to typhoid seems to have increased spontaneously""

Protection "the action of protecting, or the state of being protected."

Basically changed their definition of a vaccine to weaked its broad coverage is what it looks like to me. Immunity is a fairly strong, specific definition. Protect is very vague.

When I actually go to the CDC website and look up their definition of "vaccine", I get this.

It still says "A suspension of live (usually attenuated) or inactivated microorganisms (e.g. bacteria or viruses) or fractions thereof administered to induce immunity and prevent infectious diseases and their sequelae."

My guess is that "fractions thereof" may have been added recently. It still says induce immunity and prevent disease.

Perhaps your news sources should check their sources.
