On Facebook as in life in general....it is important who you choose to "be friends" with. You don't have to "friend" everyone who asks and you get to set the public or private setting for your page. You can also unfriend very easily. Facebook is a tool....use it wisely. The Facebook selling sites are my main use for Facebook.
