Yes for what we called a pot burner cook stove or heater ,fluid level was maintained by a sort of float system in your appliance this filled flipped over supplies that float system with fuel with no spillage..I even remember a few around as a kid,burned a few houses down I guess.It ws often retrofitted to old wood burning stoves,my grandmother used one.I assume it was way better than splitting wood and starting a fire in July.
