northeastern Ohio | 1922 Ford 89M Roadster T-Bucket followed me home yesterday. I don't know much about them, so fill me in on what you know. I've got a lot of questions:
What does the 89M stand for?
What engine do I have?
What transmission? It is an automatic.
Why is there a quiet beeping alarm inside the cab when I press on the brake?
Turn signals don't seem to work. What is the likely problem?
I'm 5'11" and there doesn't seem to be much leg room. I did a google search and it seems the taller guys stretch the bucket when they do the build. This one is not stretched. I found a few mentions of reworking the seat to get more leg room. And a couple guys talked about putting a smaller diameter steering wheel in.
It has disc brakes up front, but I really have to stomp the petal to keep it from getting away from me when the transmission is in drive. How do I get more braking with less effort so my wife can drive it?
