Oregon | Tough one and I don’t know the answer. I recently got caught up in some bad luck like that myself. Bought a used truck from private seller, put on 600 miles total in about 5 trips and cracked a head. Popped the hood after every trip and antifreeze looked clean until the fifth trip. I chalked it up as bad luck. But if it happened the first time I drove it (like in your case) I would question the seller…hopeful to get something while kinda expecting to get nothing.
