Used to see horned toads a lot in Southeastern Oklahoma as a kid. Same with jackrabbits.
Haven’t seen either in a long time in Oklahoma. Now I have spotted some different looking jackrabbits on the Texas side of the Red River. Kind of scrubby looking for lack of a better description.
