Europe is basically out of natural gas going into winter. Major nitrogen production facilities are going off line in Europe do to shortage/cost of gas.

Maybe the world should burn a little more coal and we wouldn't have this man made shortage. The scrubber systems available today aren't anything like what was used 10-20 years ago. All you need for the proof is look how much sulfur the ag industry buys these days.
