I.remember picking corn one fall when it was muddy. The Ferguson 30 couldn't pull the single row woods picker and the trailer. So Dad tied a log chain to the tongue of the woods, ran it under the Ferguson and hooked the JD 420 on the front for me to pull with. Boy that was about as handy as a saddle on a sow but we picked corn. Still got that 420. 53 years this fall.
