Wisconsin | Yes, even a 10' SINGLE disk would have been unusual in that time. A 4 could easily print a 1 with uneven ink and time, or the typesetter could have missed another one. TWO big NEW cars, the guy must have had a good town job (maybe that he lost?). Even the refrigerator was a large investment in those days. A couple hundred dollars was a lot of money, and there weren't many used fridges around. I wonder how much misc "junk" they sold at an auction in those days? probably a fraction of what accumulates these days.
