west central IL | We have a 1983 GMC brigadier grain truck with a reman 3208 cat engine. Power steering pump needed rebuilt so we took it off and sent off to get rebuilt. Got it back and now it leaks terribly. Rebuild company says it is likely because the casing is dented. Historically the belt that runs this pump would slip and squeal often so we would be tightening the belt every 6 months or so. 30 years of using a pry bar to tension the belt has the canister pretty banged up. Does anyone know where we can find a new pump or a different style pump that would bolt up and work in this place? Truck has a separate fluid canister. Link below is a listing to one on eBay that is similar but not exactly like what we have but looks just as damaged. Pics are of ours after it was "rebuilt"
