How do you put a tube in backwards?
Imo it takes a special kind of stupid.
The valve stem needs to go thru hole in rim. It’s on one side of the tube. So on BOTH rear tires they put tube in “as if” hole was toward tractor. But hole was toward outside. So they pulled the valve across!.. (I am hoping so drunk they didn’t realize). Yep that stupid. First side went. (I was plowing in furrow, switch to disc on tractor). Then start feeling “tilted”. I think “4 hours right side low, my mind fooled thinking left side low when level.
End of round have to check. It’s darn near flat. Fight to get NH to pay new tube (@8” damaged line). Then wanted other tires checked. They refused as “impossible such a mistake could happen twice”. Then other side. Again they refused to call it a “factory defect”. But finally did.
I like the tractor. But dealership caused me to go elsewhere for next bigger tractor. |
