Melancthon, Ontario
80hp minimum.
every time auger power quesitons come up, I get a chuckle out of the answers. Lots of guys rant about how they run their swing auger with a super m or a wd45 or some such unit.
I've stalled a C90 and a 5520 dead from full speed on a 10X60. I've almost killed 110hp on 13 X71.
I am convinced that some folks either dont fill an auger up, don't raise it up, or never have wet grain (20%+).
I've ran our 10X80 Brandt with an 830 case, auger down low dry grain it did the job; but I'd never think of setting up to the wet bin with it.
