Lone Wolf Picker - 9/14/2021 18:50 Brandt 10”x 80’ auger, w/ swing hopper. Discharge height of 40’. Soys and 20% corn. What’s the minimum horsepower we can get by with. Don’t want to go below 4,000 bpm. 70 hp ain’t gonna get it, is it ? TIA J

If its a real 70 hp (70 pto hp) it should easily handle it at 4000 bph.

You're not going to cram 4000 bushels per minute (bpm) through a 10" auger no matter how much hp you put in front of it.
