A grain bin pays for physical ownership, I highly doubt he picked up the cost of a bin on basis and carry(market was inverted) but not knowing his local market I was curious if other areas it was possible.
Futures can be owned by anyone with enough margin.


Dude. WTH are you babbling about?? Explain how a guy that built a bin, filled it with unsold corn when the cash market was about $3.00, and then sold every bushel this summer for $6.00 can't consider the bin "paid for".
