Hooker Twp,Ne | $2.32/ bu divided by 20 years is 12cent/ year plus tax and ins. In Nebraska be at least another 3 cents so 15-18cents/ year over 20 years to store my own grain. Currently been putting in bag for about 6 cents/ bu and hauling to local ethanol plant when free storage starts and have till almost new crop starts to sell. Sold some for $7.50 this last summer. Depends on location and markets in area. Ours is eplant basically only for the money. | |
