Subject: RE: Gypsum?

We’ve got a spot that’s turned salty on our home quarter that we’re trying gypsum on this fall. Had Naeem Kalwar up from NDSU 2 years ago and pulled soil samples so check for salt levels. We’re putting 10 ton/ac on about 8-10 acres of the worst spot as a test.

Time will tell.

Edit: It’s texture is about like the spent lime from American Crystal but not nearly as wet. Like a floury powder almost.
